The City of Prospect initiated the replacement of the pebblecrete shelter through its community arts programme and commissioned Bohdan Dorniak & Co with local artist Gerry McMahon to collaborate on a functioning piece of art.
The architects and sculptor designed the bus shelter to reflect aspects of Prospect's geographical location, primarilly the Para Fault Line. The undulating form of the wall panels define the organic aesthetic of the sculpture while representing the layers of the earth's geological strata; the mesh emphisises the variation in these layers and provides visability for the safety of users.

"...all that summer we enjoyed it, wind & rain & shine, that umbrella we employed it, by August she was mine".
